Beanie Sigel Injured In Car Accident.
Beanie Sigel sustained minor injuries and totaled his vehicle in a car accident over the weekend. The rapper was leaving a studio in Baltimore on Saturday night when his car was side-swiped by a tractor trailer and then run off the road. Sigel sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs, but he was not taken to the hospital. It is not yet known if anyone else was injured in the wreck. According to his rep, Sigel continued with his scheduled performance in Norfolk, Virginia, on Sunday.

'Dance Crew' Judge Shane Sparks Arrested for Child Molestation
America’s Best Dance Crew" judge Shane Sparks has been arrested in Los Angeles and charged with 8 felony counts of child molestation. The Los Angeles Police Department took Sparks into custody at 8 am PT Friday morning. According to the criminal complaint, the alleged incidents began occurring in 1994 and involve one victim, an under-aged girl. The complaint accuses the 35-year-old Sparks of engaging in acts "with the intent ofarousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexualdesires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [thevictim]." Jimmy Cliff To Be Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
Jamaican ska and reggae star Jimmy Cliff is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March. Cliff, born James Chambers, is being inducted into the Hall of Fame Foundation along with ABBA, Genesis, The Hollies and The Stooges. The ceremony will take place on March 15, 2010 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and will air live on Fuse, Madison Square Garden`s national music television network. Sean Paul Billboard Reggae Artiste of the Year And Decade
Billboard lists Sean Paul as the reggae artiste of the year and decade, while Shaggy was listed as the 15th most selling album of the 2000s. Sean Paul beat Matisyahu and Bob Marley & the Wailers for second and third respectively for 2009 artiste of the year based on just released chart data from Billboard. For artiste of the decade the order of the runners-up was reversed with Bob Marley taking second to Sean Paul. In 2008, the late Bob Marley was the top act followed by Collie Buddz and Stephen Marley. Billboard stated that the top reggae artiste of the decade ranking was based on an artiste's chart performance. Zebra Captured In St James.
Garfield Vassell, more popularly know as Zebra, have been arrested and is now held by the St Catherine North police and is scheduled to face the Linstead Resident Magistrate's Court for rape charges. Zebra was handed over to the Bog Walk police on Friday december 11, 2009by their St James police department. Zebra have been on the run for over ten months. It's allegedly stated that the stepchild of Zebra, was sexually assaulted. This came to light in early February 2009 when residents observed the child behaving strangely.
Buju Banton Drug Enforcement Administration affidavit
A U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration affidavit says Banton, whose real name is Mark Anthony Myrie, traveled to Sarasota last week to make the purchase along with two others. The DEA was tipped off by a confidential informant who agreed to wear a recording device during the drug negotiation session. Banton, 36, faces a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine, which carries a maximum 20-year prison sentence. Banton was being held at Miami's downtown detention center Monday pending transfer to Tampa, where the case is being prosecuted. Affidavit is availible to download below.

Nas And Damian Marley To collaborate On A Album.
The collaborating album is said to be called Distant Relatives.Distant Relatives is set for release next March. It's not the first time Nas and Marley have worked together; the two collaborated on a track from Marley's 2005 breakout album, Welcome to Jamrock. Promoters Plan To Sue Vybz Kartel For No - Shows
Irate show promoters in St Lucia and Guyana are planning to sue dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel for a series of no-shows over the weekend. Kartel and members of his Portmore Empire were reportedly booked for a concert in Guyana on Saturday night, after which they should have moved on to St Lucia to perform on the last evening of a three-day event called Love Fest. Reports are, however, that while some members of the Empire turned up, Kartel missed his flight to Guyana, not once, but twice, after which the promoter was asked to send a charter. Associated Press: MIAMI (AP) -- Federal authorities say Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton attempted to buy cocaine from an undercover officer in Florida. Banton, whose real name is Mark Anthony Myrie, has been in U.S. federal custody in Miami since Thursday. He faces a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine. According to court documents, Banton and two others contacted a police informant last week about buying cocaine in Sarasota. Drug Enforcement Administration agents say Banton negotiated the purchase and was observed inspecting cocaine offered by the undercover officer. The other men were arrested Thursday when they allegedly attempted to buy the drugs.

Buju Banton was arrested and is in a federal lockup in Miami, facing drug conspiracy charges. Drug Enforcement Administration agents say Buju Banton, real name Mark Anthony Myrie, has been in custody since Thursday and will soon be transferred to Tampa, where the U.S. Attorney is charging him with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilos of cocaine. Billboard Names Taylor Swift And Kanye West 2009 Best.
NEW YORK (AP) -- They gave us the most memorable music moment of 2009, so it's only fitting that Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been named the king and queen of the charts. Billboard magazine named Swift the top female artiste, while West was declared top male artist. But Swift trumps West overall. She was the top artist of the year, with Beyonce coming in second and Lady Gaga third. Swift has a sophomore CD, Fearless, that has sold more than 4.5 million copies. West and Swift provided one of the most talked-about episodes of the year when West hijacked her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech.
