Britain's Royal Wedding To Be On Sale On  iTunes
Prince William and Kate Middleton can go straight from Westminster Abbey to your iTunes playlist. Royal officials say that for the first time in history, the entire April 29 royal wedding ceremony, including the couple's vows, will be released digitally within hours of the service though Britain's Decca Records to online retailers such as iTunes. Decca Records, which also recorded the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana, says the album will be produced by multi-Grammy-nominated producer Anna Barry. Musicians confirmed to perform at the royal wedding include the Abbey's choir, the Chapel Royal Choir and the London Chamber Orchestra.

David "Smiley Culture" Emmanuel, died of a suspected stab wound in his Warlingham house, in England. Smiley Culture died when police with arm with an arrest warrant for him had raided his house at 7am Tuesday March 15, 2011. Ragashanti Ordered Off The Air By Broadcasting Commission
The Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ) has directed the management of Nationwide News Network (NNN) Limited to immediately discontinue transmission of Kingsley 'Ragashanti' Stewart's popular call-in radio programme, 'Ragashanti Live'. In a statement this afternoon, the BCJ said that it had decided to take action following after receiving numerous public complaints over the last two months and after having conducted its own review of NNN's programming during the period February 7 to March 2. Claro To Be Sold To Digicel
America Movil has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Digicel Group to acquire 100% of Digicel’s operations in Honduras and El Salvador. As part of the transaction, America Movil will sell Jamaican subsidiary Claro to Digicel. The completion of the transaction is subject to governmental and regulatory approvals in Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica, among other conditions, and is expected to be finalised during the second quarter of 2011. The financial terms of the transaction have not being disclosed, although it has been reported in the Jamaican press that there will be a net cash payment to Digicel. Gunmen Shoot Up Jamaica Police Station
(AP) Gunmen brazenly shot up a police station and later swarmed inside a public hospital to rob doctors and nurses in a gritty city just outside the Caribbean island's capital, authorities said Friday. On Friday, gunmen invaded Spanish Town Hospital and robbed staff of money, phones and jewelry. There were no immediate reports of any injuries. National Security Minister Dwight Nelson said intelligence indicated the gun attack late Thursday in the southern city of Spanish Town was in retaliation for the deaths of three alleged members of the Klansman gang by security forces last weekend. Ganja Worth $18m Found In Container Shipped From Jamaica
Police recovered over T&T$18 million (J$240 million) worth of compressed marijuana concealed in a 40-foot shipping container at the port of Point Lisas, Trinidad on Wednesday. A bout 12 suitcases was found stored among boxes of pressure washers inside a 40-foot container at an industrial property at Point Lisas Industrial Estate Property Development Company between 4.30 pm and 11.30 pm on Wednesday. The container left Jamaica on February 25, arrived at the port of Port-of-Spain on March 1 and was transferred to the Point Lisas port last Friday. Jamaica Defends Human Rights Record At The UN
The UN's human rights council is reviewing a report by the Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in Jamaica. The officer visited Jamaica in February 2010, and according to the UN, said that torture, did not constitute a major problem in Jamaica. However, he found that there is a general atmosphere of violence and aggression in almost all police stations, as well as discriminatory practices against detainees.
Jamaican Accused Of Killing Wife In Green-Card Marriage
Orane Ferguson met his wife at his brother's funeral. At only their second meeting, she suggested they marry. He was Jamaican and, with his visa expiring, would have to return to his homeland. It was never a happy union, and less than three years after they married, authorities say Ferguson killed his wife, stabbing her more than 50 times. The 31-year-old is on trial this week, charged with first-degree murder in the July 20, 2008, death of Lenora Michelle Ferguson, 35. His attorneys don't dispute he stabbed her, but they say he was a man in a frenzy who had no conscious intent to kill his wife. Rodney 'Bounty Killer' Pryce had his bail extended to March 31 when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Today. The artiste was charged for possession of marijuana. It was Alleged that Bounty was seen smoking along Grenada Way in New Kingston Jamaica in October 2010. He was held and searched and a small quantity of the drug was reportedly found in his possession. Bounty was arrested and charged for possession marijuana.
Royal Caribbean Crewmembers Arrested For Cocaine Possession
A pair of Royal Caribbean International crewmembers were busted for drug possession on Thursday Feb. 24 2011 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The crewmembers were both Jamaican nationals working on the 1,950-passenger Grandeur of the Seas The bust was confirmed by Royal Caribbean, which said that while the Grandeur was docked in Montego Bay on Feb. 24, Jamaican authorities detained a crewmember and found that he was in possession of 18 kilos of cocaine. Authorities then boarded the ship and found an additional 15 kilos in the cabin of a different crewmember This is the fourth time since December that Royal Caribbean has been in the news for drug busts on its ships.
Juvenile Arrested For Marijuana Possession In Louisiana
Rapper Terius "Juvenile" Gray was arrested on Saturday night in Louisiana for marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license. Apparently, the rapper was pulled over for speeding, the rapper was doing 75 in a 65 speed zone. The Officer said after he stopped the 35-year-old rapper, he smelled marijuana and Gray handed over small bag of it when asked. The suspended license appeared when police checked his name with law enforcement records. Both charges are misdemeanors. He was taken in and released on a $750 bond. The court date has been set for April 1.

Buju Banton Found Guilty On Drug Charges
Buju Banton has been found guilty Tuesday afternoon on drug charges after many thought the artist would beat the odds after an earlier mistrial in the fall of 2010. Buju was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and using the wires to facilitate a drug trafficking offense. One charge of attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine was dropped. Buju’s bail was revoked and he was led away by U.S. Marshals to await sentencing. Banton’s attorney David Markus plans to appeal the conviction and attempt to have his client free on bond as he waits to know his fate.
Haiti Upset Over The Treatment Of Its Soccer Players By Jamaica
Haiti is angry over the treatment of their children from their young soccer team by Jamaica authorities after two players became ill. The Under-17 soccer squad was forced to withdraw from the competition after Jamaican authorities were pressured to send them home because several members became ill with a fever that was later determined to be malaria. The Haitian team was told that everyone would have to undergo testing. The team members were later placed in quarantine with armed guards. The Jamaican government confirmed that its ministry of health recommended that the Haitian soccer team leave the island. Jamaican Shot Dead In Trinidad
A Jamaican man, who recently went to Trinidad was shot dead in Barataria, Trinidad over the weekend. The victim have been identified as Vincent Powell, 41, a fisherman of Montego Bay, Jamaica. Powell was shot in the chest area and tossed out of a vehicle near Low Cost Supermarket, Eastern Main Road, Barataria shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday. Powell was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he died while undergoing surgery.
New Port In Jamaica Welcomes It's First Ship
Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas has become the first ship to stop at the Historic Falmouth port in Jamaica. The port, which is between Ochos Rios and Montego Bay, is the first themed port and has 60 excursions available for cruise passengers. Senior vice president of land operations at Royal Caribbean Craig Milan said, Developments on the port will now focus on completing a two-berth pier, retail and restaurant units and a transportation centre. Onsite attractions, hotels and residential areas will be constructed in subsequent phases.
Woman Claims To Taste Sperm in Yogurt
Police in Albuquerque investigates a yogurt case. A woman claims that the yogurt distributed in a mall tasted like sperm. The woman spat out the yogurt and immediately went to the police. The yogurt was scraped from the floor and taken away for examination. Tests in the laboratory will show wether the food is indeed mixed with male reproductive fluids. The employee who handed out the yogurts, 31-year-old Anthony Garcia, is arrested. He was a wanted man, because he had two outstanding bench warrants, including two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor.
