Jah Cure has been axed from this year's Music of Black Origin ( MOBO ) awards nominations. The 2011 MOBO Awards will be held on October 5 , 2011 at the SECC Glasgow in the UK.
Reggae singer Jah Cure whose real name is Siccature Alcock was also nominated but was later drop because the organizers were informed about his rape conviction.
The nominees for dancehall and Reggae music Best Act are Alborosie Damian Marley & Nas Khago and Mavado.
