Dancehall artiste and producer Delly Ranx is aiming to take his career to new heights with his latest album Good Profile. Delly Ranx says that the album features some of his best works to date and he has great expectations.
The album, produced by the California-based record label Itation Records, hit the shelves last Tuesday.
The 18-track consists of mainly one-drop roots and culture-flavoured songs which show a different side of Delly, who is known for riding riddims with up-tempo dancehall beats. The album signals the coming of age of this artiste who, despite having enjoyed a fairly successful career as a deejay, has gained more prominence as a producer. He is confident, however, that this album will cement his status as an artiste of repute.
The first single from the album is the conscious and uplifting Wish Good, the music video for which was shot on location a few months ago under the guidance of California-based director Jusjay of Urban Empires Productions. It will be released to television stations locally before the end of September.
