Amy Winehouse was found dead by her bodyguard in her London apartment yesterday at 4 p.m. London time of an apparent drug overdose. Winehouse was only 27.
Winehouse is a Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter whose passion was jazz music. Her Back to Black album, released in the U.S. in 2007, thrust her to worldwide fame. She canceled her European tour last month after she was booed on stage for being late and appearing to be under the influence.
