Robert Warren Dale Shakespeare was a Jamaican bass guitarist and record producer, best known as the one half of the reggae riddim section and production duo Sly and Robbie, with drummer Sly Dunbar has died.
Robbie recently undergone kidney surgery at a hospital in Florida. He died at the age of 68.
Sly and Robbie has two Grammy wins and 11 nominations among other music achievements.
