God bless our children
Give them the strength they need
To grow in this cruel world we live in
And believe they can succeed

We all need someone to guide us
To know we have someone there
To have a shoulder to lean on
And to show that they care

As parents we try to protect them
And help them on their way
We know the hard work will be worth it
For them to live in a brighter day

The love we have for our children
Can never be surpassed
It’s a love that never dies
It’s a love that will forever last.

Some day they will leave us
To stand on their own two feet
But we will always be there for them
As long as our hearts still beat.
