Louie Culture Shot And Injured in Portland Jamaica.

Forty-one year old Reggae artist Lewin "Louie Culture" Brown has been
shot and injured. The artist who resides in Windsor Forrest in Portland
was shot in Priestman's River Portland, while at a tire shop.

Police sources said that shortly after 1:30 p.m yesterday the artiste drove up
to a tire shop in the area, when a blue Subaru motor car drove up, reversed
and drove some distance away.

According to the police, less than two minutes after the Subaru drove off, a
man was spotted walking towards the tyre shop with one hand behind his back.

It is reported that Louie Culture, who saw the man, became suspicious and ran
towards the Priestman's River bridge but was shot in the left arm

The operator of a tyre shop Anthony Taylor was also shot in the incident.
Anthony Taylor was grazed on his right thigh and fell and injured his right elbow.

Last Friday Louis Culture was released from police custody after he was
questioned by the police in a shooting incident at Hartford, Portland. The
police say his car was involved in the shooting incident. Louie Culture was taken
into custody on March 21 and released on March 28.

In that incident a group of men were playing dominoes at a bar near Hartford when
a man approached them armed with a gun. It is alleged that the man fired one shot,
which grazed a man on one of his arm before hitting another man. Both men were
taken to the Port Antonio Hospital, where they were treated and released.

The police think that this shooting maybe in reprisal for the incident in hartford Portland.
