Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter Moliy, who has captivated the world with her viral hit “Shake It To The Max,” has been added to the impressive roster for Reggae Sumfest 2025.

The event is slated for Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica, from Sunday, July 13, to Saturday, July 19, at Catherine Hall Stadium and the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex.

The Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) in Guyana Wednesday condemned what it termed “blasphemous and deeply offensive” a song titled ‘Good Like Jesus’ by Jamaican dancehall artiste, Vybz Kartel, saying it “is profoundly disrespectful to Christian religious sensibilities.”

It is calling for the song, which heavily references the female genitalia, to be banned in Guyana.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Philadelphia has deported Jeovann Anthony Forde, a Jamaican national wanted for murder, back to his home country. Forde's removal took place on March 27, following a final order of removal.

Forde, who was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol near San Ysidro, California, on July 18, 2022, for entering the United States without inspection, was wanted by Jamaican authorities on a murder charge issued on February 22, 2022.
